Long-Term Financing Policy Report for AT&T Corporation The following is a description of the AT&T Corporation and their long-term finance policy that has affected their net worth and overall debt. This paper will examine AT&T Corp. long-term financing actions that have paved the way for the spin-off of AT&T Wireless. This paper then will move on to the analysis of the economic business and competitive background in which the financing occurred and then conclude by identifying cost and risk trade-offs. AT&T Corp. provides voice, data and video telecommunications services, including cellular telephone and Internet services, to businesses, consumers and government agencies. Their net revenues for the past three months show a decline of l 6% to a sum of $8.99 billion. Net income from continuous operations and before an accounting change rose 19% to $529 million. These results reflect continued declines in the long distance voice business, offset by lower equity loss.
